We recently build a gallery using smart list 7. Normally all our pictures get indexed by Google except for these ones. Our sitemaps are created by Yoast Seo. Has anyone experienced the same using smart lists?

Maybe this is not only a smart list problem but a general since we updated to the latest WordPress + Newspaper version. All our pictures indexed by google now are only thumbs or the modal image which is also a kind of thumb. But the original post image doesn’t get indexed anymore. Has anyone experienced the same?

Did you by any chance edit the seo plugin settings? You need to use the seo yoast plugin and create a xml sitemap so google can crawl your whole website. Please check if this option is ticked: http://kb.yoast.com/article/96-enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin

Does this mean each page of a smart list should now get indexed by Google?

Yes, on smartlists that have pagination, there was an issue with the canonical URL that got fixed and now they should be indexed properly.
