Pictures size on homepage

Hi,
I changed my theme to newsmag. Now all the Pictures in the poste as a strange size.
Do I need to use a certain Picture size?

Did you use the regenerate thumbnails plugin to make the thumbs in right sizes for theme?

I add Pictures to Media, then add it at highlighted image when creating New post. I do not think I usa a regenerate thumbnails plugin. How can I check?

For existing posts, you would need to use the “regenerate thumbnails” plugin (this info used to be in theme docs… not sure where that is now) to rebuild all the thumbs to the size you want to use. You can get plugin from wordpress.org plugin repository.

Also see the theme panel for modules/blocks to activate the thumb sizes you wish the theme to generate for the site.

I installed the “regenerate thumbnails” plugin, and for some photos it worked. But some still are out of size.

WordPress cannot enlarge images. For that you need to also install “thumbnail upscale” .. then regen again.

This should be in the docs, but apparently is not.

Bug repot: At homepage view, when I use Ctrl + “+/-” to minimize or enlarge page, the photos/post gets out of line. Is there any fix for this?
