Yes of course, here is an example, http://cruisingsea.com/yachts
First you should try to use larger images
tagdiv crop the image into different sizes for different blocks
incase if your image is smaller than the image size recommended for a block it will not show a decent picture
but if you have migrated from another theme rebuilding all your images may solve the issue

Please notice that the cropping system for our theme is the same for all featured image and this will crop the image from center to top. Please notice that you cannot change very easy this system and if you want this, please notice that is not a simple task and involve custom work.
