We have rich pins enabled on our site. Whenever we pin a post to Pinterest, instead of showing the title of the post, it shows the title of the most recent post in that post’s category. So when we post http://www.gorare.com/2014/02/surf-turf-classic-elegant-simple/ on Pinterest, the title comes up as “Flashback Friday: Blockbuster Brownies” instead of “Surf and Turf – classic, elegant, simple”. Pinterest uses the same open graph tags as Facebook uses for its posts, and Facebook’s posts are coming through correctly. The og:title meta tag is correct <meta property=”og:title” content=”Surf and Turf – classic, elegant, simple”/>. Have you guys experienced this issue before? We’re currently in talks with Pinterest about this issue.

I have checked your site and found that you are using a plugin for pinterest. Unfortunately we haven’t tested the theme with this plugin so I can’t offer you an accurate answer regarding this. I suggest you to also address this question to plugins support.

What have you guys tested regarding Rich Pins? We would be happy to switch from our plugin to one that you guys have tested.
Hi,
The theme has an built in sharing system for pinterest, twitter, fb, google + also so you don’t need a plugin for this.
Test this by disabling the plugin then check it, see if this still happens and let us know.
If this still comes up please disable all plugins, empty cache then check again.
Also make sure you use the latest theme version(4.6.1).
I can’t recommend you any plugins for this and also guarantee it will work fine as we haven’t tested any plugins for this.
