Place a widget on the frontpage Newspaper

It is my succeeded after a long search to place this widget in the footer, but that is not the intention.
The widget should be in the white area below the pagination 😉
But how?

Hi,

In order to get a widget below the pagination, you will need to insert it using a shortcode. You will have to edit the theme page template files and use the do_shortcode function of wordpress: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/

Can you be more precise to which the template file is where to put the shortcode.
What is the name of the template?

The template depends on the post style that you use. Each post style has 2 files that correspond to them: http://screencast.com/t/EvSIBnC9EMM
