Place sharing buttons above post text

Hi there,

In my posts, the social icons appear under the text that I write. See an example here:

http://www.thechaff.co/the-conception-of-a-nicaragua-canal/

How can I move those social icons so that they either appear 1) below the featured image and above the text, or 2) above the featured image and below the title, like Buzzfeed:

Hey, thanks for the help. I’ve been writing a lot this weekend, so I just got around to editing the site.

When I follow the instructions above, the tags on the post are carried upwards with the social box. Is there any way to bring the social sharing function up without bringing the tags?
