I has a customized placeholder for all posts that do not have featured images but it has reverted to the default placeholder after the recent theme update. How do I restore the custom placeholder I earlier had?

Hello nkodgh,
Please keep in mind that each theme update will overwrite all the theme files and all of your additional customizations through the code and files will be lost. Please notice that you should have done a full backup before theme updating, sorry!
