Im still running on a version of 7…
The latest news feed isnt the most recent articles.
Am I missing something? It was working perfectly. DO i need to upgrade to the latest version? And if I update what is the recommended method that will give me minimul data loss?

Hello !
If you still want to keep the version you are currently running you should look first for a plugin conflict.
If you want to update please be aware that due to the big gap between versions you will have to recreate your website using the new Newspaper Theme version.
