Yesterday I updated the newspaper theme to the latest version of WordPress. But then, it was working fine. But when today I started working with WordPress, I found that the newspaper theme has been automatically deactivated and twenty-one is directly installed.
When I reactivated the theme it came complete in broken pieces like all the CSS were looking and the header was missing the logo was missing. Some elements are in place while some elements are nowhere seen. Please help me to figure out the problem as there has been no change done from my side and everything was working quite efficiently and fine. Please help me.
Now I tried to do everything best from my side and the theme looks fine but still, I’m trying to figure out why the theme got deactivated and another theme got installed.
Again and again, the theme is getting deactivated and the default WordPress theme is opening up. Please help sir/mam. Why has this been happening since the update? I’m too confused and worrying a lot. It has become for thrice in 2 hours. Please help me.

As far as I know, I don’t think there is a possibility that one theme will be deactivated by her self and another one will be activated. My opinion is that some one made this change.
If the theme was just disabled, then all you had to do was activating it and the theme plugins then everything had to be as before (but from what I read was not, so maybe something interfered or someone made the changes).
Now there is another possibility, it is possible to have some plugins that are interfering or maybe your host has some extra settings that are deactivating the theme and set a default one, you can ask them and they can also check the logs to see if there are some errors.

Thank you, Sir. There were some maintenance issues going out there with our hosts. That time the theme was deactivating again and again. As soon as the server auto-installing Maintainance stopped everything seemed working fine. So, there are no issues for now anymore. Thanks for the support.
