Please update Vimeo API for HD size thumbnails

Right now Newsmag downloads the 640px version from Vimeo which looks not so good when in use with for ex. LARGE SLIDE (it upscales 640px to 1021px which is bad) its looks even worse on mobile.

Please add the 1280px thumbnail size. This would also work nice with the Retina 2x plugin
Youtube thumbnail is OK, still fetches the largest possible size.

I’ve also tested this and found the same problem. I’ll add this on our issues list and attend on it and fix it in the next theme update.

sorry for the piggy back. @lucian is there a way to force the theme to re-fetch the thumbnail? We upload original videos and the low rez thumbnail seems to be obtained first and we are stuck with it as the featured image.

Hi,

Unfortunately we haven’t managed to find the reason for this issue and a solution for this so far but we will try to fix this until theme’s next update then regenerating thumbnails should bring the right one: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/
