Plugins and security

Hello,

I am interested to know if we use plugins on our WordPress site using Newspaper theme. Does this affect on security?
For example I want to use these plugins: https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-json-api/ & https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/

Also, do you have any suggestions for us, what we need to do for WEB Site security?

Hi,

That could be a general question that applies regardless of the theme used. You could search online for answers on this matter, and possible security flaws if there would be any

If you decide to use these plugins you could also search for and install security plugins, as there are many that can improve the website security, if you should feel that it is vulnerable or just to be on the safe side. Maybe consider getting some security advice from professionals in this field.
