Plugins deactivated

Help! All plugins on my site were suddenly deactivated, and now I am unable to reactivate ANY of them. Anyone else have this problem? I read on another forum that this happened to a different WP theme when it was hacked.

Contact your web hosting provider to run a scan of your site;
login to your site and change passwords for admin;
delete the revolution slider if it’s an old version (not updated with theme 4.2 or higher); the old version that came with Newspaper 3.92 was hackable.

Theme doesn’t get hacked; poor quality plugins get hacked; bad passwords get hacked; somebody on insecure web server from other domain can hack if server not patched, etc.

Check the version of Revolution Slider you have as first step; remove any “plugins” you didn’t get with theme or which were not downloaded from the main wordpress.org repository (any commercial plugins); turn off any membership plugins.

Start there.

i think any plugin make your hosting down… like STT2…
do you use share hosting? 🙂
contact admin hosting for fix if like that
