I want to use a custom comments plugin called “thrive comments”. It masks the generic WordPress comments with their own. But my website wont show it correctly. No, it is not an issue with the plugin. I talked with their support and was told it is set up correctly and to check with the theme builder.

the plugin should mask the generic WordPress comments section, but it doesn’t. Im not sure if its because the tagdiv builder section is ‘single post comments’ shortcode, but that shouldn’t matter.
Why is tagdiv not showing the plugin comments? When I delete the theme and try a post, it shows up how it should. But when I have the tagdiv theme installed and use a cloud library post template, it doesn’t show the correct comments layout from the theme
Hi Stanford Nix, our theme was not tested with that plugin, therefore we do not know how this should be working and if our theme is interfering or not, also we can not provide support for untested plugins.
Now, if you say that the problem can be because of the single post template from cloud and you need/want to use that plugin, what you can do is to set the post template on default -> https://i.imgur.com/tNDQ27V.png (or use the standard pack for another post style) and see if this is displaying.
