However, I keep getting pop ups with ads coming up. On the left and right as well as along the bottom. Can you tell me how to get rid of these?

I have added google analytics code in the ads section. But that is for the header and below articles.
I just cant find where the code is for this?

You probably have automatic ads turned on in your Adsense settings.
