1) When I set Popular (last 7 days), the list of posts is empty. (But if I set eg. Random posts, the posts are there, no problem in that case)
2) The theme knows what posts are popular. In “Views” coumn, there are numbers, so the view count works and the theme has that information apparently.
3) Because I use a caching plugin (as everyone does), I switched the counter to Ajax. (If Ajax is disabled, the counter does not work and “Views” is always 0.)
I think it would be logical if the theme counts and stores the Views right, it should be able to display popular posts based on that…is it not a bug?
Note: I do not want to use Jetpack at all costs, it is incredibly bloated clunky plugin that can create many problems and make the site slower. Not recommended for experienced WP developers.

Do you have the single post view element in the single post template? Also, you can enable the view from the option in the theme panel to show views on post.
