Popular category counts wrong

Hi, after upgrading to Newspaper 6, it seem the widget “popular category” counts the wrong number of posts. Please check the widget in my footer here: http://starzip.de/

Hi,

Please test this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if you still have this issue as I have checked this and did not found any issue with this on my side or demo. Let me know how it goes!

Hi Alin,

I deactivated all plugins (even the once from tagDiv), cleared cache, but no change. If you don’t get this on your side, maybe a plugin mixed up a sheet on my side. Which sheets are responsible for the “popular category” count’s?

Hi,

Here you can find the code for “Popular Category” block(this is wordpress widget) – http://screencast.com/t/hfP7Urx0 I see that you use W3Total Cache please make sure that you have only page cache active like we recommend, also after you clear the cache disable the cache plugin(and all others except of Visual Composer).

It was definitely a WordPress problem, after updating to the latest version it work’s all fine.
