Hi,
I’m trying to set up Flex Block 1 in a way that would show most popular posts from last 7 days. I’m using Gossip.
In Filter tab of the Flex Box 1 I select Sort order: Popular (last 7 day) and no posts are shown. Can you please help me set it up so that the posts will show correctly?
Thank you
Hello,
To sort the block for Popular (24h,48h and 7days) you need to have added the element SINGLE POST VIEWS => https://i.imgur.com/pLWuoSS.png -> https://i.imgur.com/BbrBmL0.png, also, for Popular you need to have this option enable https://i.imgur.com/grI3bti.png
The sort option will be displayed that popular posts of the last 48 hours, those can be older posts.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, you can hide it from the tab CSS -> https://imgur.com/RQYJHFW for each view port.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have just added number of views to each post.
In TagDiv editor I have selected Popular (last 7 days) from the Sort order drop down. Now the posts are being shown, but not the most popular ones. Do I need to wait for 7 days so that all the data updates or should it work already now as it is?
Hi,
I have waited more than 7 days to see how the block works. I have noticed two things.
1. The posts displayed are still not top viewed posts
Some of the posts displayed are top posts, but there are also some posts in the block that are definitely not top posts. How do I fix this?
2. The block slows down the page
It seems that this block is using some unoptimized SQL as the page slows down by several seconds, this making it unusable.
// I have tried to paste the SQL query here, but the forum doesn’t allow it.
Our website has 80k+ posts. This query takes from 3 to 9 seconds and it bogs down the website.
Please help with these issues.
Hello,
What I can suggest is to use this filter – https://i.imgur.com/nYIDnXG.png it should not consume so many resources, but I don’t know if it works properly with the cache.
Thank you!
That option is working only if selected on this filter – https://imgur.com/nYIDnXG – https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
You can use those guides https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-stats/ – https://jetpack.com/support/control-jetpack-features-on-one-page/
I hope this will help you!
