Positioning ads

If we change the number from 2 to 3 or higher, the ad is showing on the bottom of the article. Which is sometimes 10 or even 20 paragraphs lower.
Is this an bug or a feature?

Please provide the link to your posts that have more paragraphs, and set the ads after five paragraphs.

After setting it to 5 it remains the same
