Possible to make items like "Block 11" wrap differently on mobile screen?

I like “blog style” blocks such as Block 11 and Block 12 on full size screens. However I do not like how they display on mobile screens. I would prefer that they wrap “vertically” such that the featured image is full width on top, followed by title and excerpt. Newspaper theme, however, keeps them in a horizontal arrangement with a small picture on the left and the title and to the right.

Here is a link with two screenshots. One shows what I like, and the other shows what I don’t like:

Images for Newspaper Theme Question

I think Newspaper theme is outstanding. This is just the one thing I don’t like. Is there a way to accomplish the functionality I’m looking for? Please let me know if I am missing something.

Thanks!

Hi

You can try this css in theme apnel > custom code > custom css to change the layout of module 10 for mobile: http://screencast.com/t/3kPG3WqoZN4D

@media(max-width: 768px){
.td_module_10 .td-module-thumb .entry-thumb,
.td_module_10 .td-module-thumb {
width: 100%!important;
}
.td_module_10 .item-details{
margin-left: 0;
}
.td_module_10 .td-module-thumb {
position: relative;
}
.td_module_10 .td-excerpt {
display: block;
}
}

If you want the css to be applied only for block 11 add .td_block_11 class before each .td_module_10

Thanks!

Follow up question:

First of all, your fix worked great on the mobile screen – Thanks!

However, it does not display correctly on a tablet style screen, see this picture:

Newspaper Theme Follow up Question

I’m sure it is an easy fix, but I’m not quite proficient enough with CSS yet to figure it out myself.

Thanks!

Hello advckr,

Provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.

Thanks.

My site is not currently online, I just host it locally on my computer while I’m working on it.

I use Blisk web browser to show how the site displays on different devices.

I realize it would be easier for you to diagnose if I could just point you the live site. Is there anything else I could do to help? I am comfortable viewing page source and finding my way around if there is a particular section of code you’re looking for. Let me know what you think.

Thanks!
