Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

No. the issue is only happening only after updating newspaper theme to 12.3 or 12.3.1 with no other config. changed on my site at all.
below 12.3 version of newspaper theme this issue is not coming.
Could you please check if you probably put any code related bug in the recent updates 12.3 onwards???
