Hello
I want to use the same template for different posts, but the problem is that some of the items/blocks of the template have to change: i.e I have icons, maps, and client boxes that change in each post in the function of the company I have to post. So the problem is I can´t change it in the post because these items belong to the template and there isn´t any composer for posts (that edit these things) ¿What can I do?
I have been looking at the page section to use an edited page by the Tagdiv Composer but the problem is that page can´t be copied, isn´t it? So it´s impossible to use them as a template…
So the only possibility is using a single template, isn´t it? but this will cause that I have to generate as single templates as really post I need, so If I have 250 clients, Do I have to use 250 single templates??? per 250 posts???
I will wait for your answer… Thanks!
Hi,
Yes, if you want to have more control over the post templates, you’ll need to use some single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer, also depend on what you want to set in post, it relay need to be in post template? also maybe you can set in in sidebar or something.
Thank you!
But I see the problem of this section, Have you tried with this situation in the theme? I mean it´s possible to set more than 250 icons in this window to give to the editor the opportunity to chose them? With the sidebar that will happen the same, I will have to create 250 sidebars per each business post.
I have read this is a regular problem, so I see different options to solve it:
1.-Make the TagDiv Composer could work in post pages.
2.-Available the option of copy pages in the page section to use them as posts in this situation.
Do you consider some of these options to update in a new version to fix this issue?
Hello,
Unfortunately, if these need to be part of post templates, then the only way is to create multiple posts temples, sorry for the inconvenience!
What you can do as an alternative is to use the WPBakery plugin, you’ll need to activate it only on post and use it only on default post templates not on cloud templates.
Thank you for your understanding!
