Since I upgraded my website to the latest version of Newspaper on Saturday, the post ‘Views’ counter isn’t working. For example I know that lots of people have seen a post today by looking at analytics but when I’m in WordPress, it says nobody’s seen it. Can you help?

Please make sure that you have activated Post Vies counts from Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/WXOM6HPNIx and then please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Check your posts after this and see how it works and if your problem is still there please let us know.

Have done all this, but sadly, I still can’t tell hwo many people are visiting my posts – it just says ‘0’ post views by many articles. I know this is not true because of google analytics, so I’m baffled. What could be going wrong?

Please ensure that you have activated the Ajax View count from Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/i295sk1g Also, I have checked your website and I saw that you have a lot of untested plugins and among theme I noticed this -> http://screencast.com/t/5QxgkUOXp I have no idea about the functionality of this type of plugin and it could cause some errors in our theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Hello there! I did not have the Ajax View Count on!!! Have done so now and am hoping all will be well; I have done the whole visual composer, clearing cache etc, but that didn’t work, so I don’t think it’s a plugin, although I may be wrong. Will keep you updated! Thanks so much.
