How would I go about making sure the post view count shows in the wp_admin but not on the front end… I would like to add a slider box for this in the theme’s admin panel.
To clarify, I would like an option to show view counts in admin panel AND an option to show post view count on the post. I would like them to be separate options.
Could anyone explain how to do this?

The theme has only one post view counter that is site-wide. They are not controlled separately. The easiest way to have views in the back-end and not in the front-end is with CSS:
.td-post-views{
display:none!important;
}
This way you will be able to control the front-end by adding or removing the code.
You can do this for the back-end as well:
.td_post_views.column-td_post_views{
display:none!important
}
To add separate buttons for views in the theme panel will be no easy task and it will require custom work which we cannot provide. If you really need this customization you can hire a freelancer to do it.
