Post editor is very narrow – How do I widen it?

When I edit a page or post, the visual editor is very narrow (see image below). It almost looks like it’s trying to default to show me what my post will look like on a mobile phone. Is there a way to widen this?

I remember seeing this a few times before, quite an unusual issue. Are you using the latest theme and WordPress versions?
