Hello. I use the Newspaper theme on three of my sites, all with similar plugins.
On two of the sites, on the backend, the Post Format Section, with options for Standard and Video, is located below the Publish Section, and the Featured Video section is located further down on the same right-hand side column.
On one site, however, the Post Format Section was never located on the right-hand side column, at least as far back as I can remember, but rather there was a tab at the top of the editor where you could select the post format.
At some point recently, that post option tab disappeared, and there is no place to choose the Video format for a post. The Featured Video section is still in place. Now, I am unable to use any of the video templates. A still image is inserted in place of the video on those templates.
I was using Newspaper version 9.2, and upgraded to 9.5 hoping that may bring the option back, but it did not. Other an this, I’ve had no other major problems. I used the Soledad Theme on the site, before switching to Newspaper a couple of years ago.
Do you have any ideas of how to resolve this?

Using the classic editor the post format tab would be in it’s default place (if enabled)

Wow, thank you! Format, under Screen Options. was never selected. Now, the Format Section is in the same place as my other sites, and the video templates work again. I don’t know where it was pulling the option from before it disappeared.
