Post Images Not Appearing On Home Page Default Template

Hello,

We are new to Newspaper 6 and helping a client build their new website using this theme. We have searched the documentation and looked over the video tutorials, but could not find what might not allow the post images to show up on the home page.

The home page template being used is the default template.

We have tried setting an image on one post with a featured images…unfortunately that did not help.

We think there is another setting in the post perhaps that is governing if the image shows on the home page template.

Hi,

These: http://screencast.com/t/b5lmlUeh2lUG are the featured image placeholder’s and in order to have the featured image display on modules/blocks thumbnails you have to set it for each post from here: http://screencast.com/t/yTlOLmmg0yN or you can use a plugin that automatically sets as featured image the first image you place into post’s content. You can use one like https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoset-featured-image/ or similar.

Thanks for your feedback. This must be a cache issue, because we do have several of the posts with featured images and they are not showing on my browser.

If we run into any other questions on this topic we’ll get back to you.

Make sure you empty all caches and also purge files if you sue cdn host and test this again.
