how to set filter by category in posts loop

The Posts Loops settings are divided into 4 tabs: General, Layout, Style, and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).

I also need this please. We need a way to filter the post loop. It displays all the post but we want only a specific category so that not all post shows.

As I said above, you can’t filter the block Posts Loop, you can only sort it =>https://www.screencast.com/t/geckLSYd5sa, so if you have set the Posts Loop on the homepage, then will display all post of all categories, if you have set the Posts Loop set on the category template, then will display the posts only from that category.
If you need a block that can filter you can use a flex block.
