Is there a way to make the theme respect the post permalink in home page, so when a post is clicked in home it should takes to that post permalink. This works well in categories archive and when posts are clicked it takes to their permalink you can see it here http://newzcliq.com/category/local/ . How can I make any post from anywhere direct to permalink?

Well the theme permalinks are not available for the modules and blocks. The modules do not have a permalink option if this is want you mean. The permalink is for the main page, category or post, but not for elements on the page.

Unfortunately like in the previous topic, it can only be made with customization. our theme was not built with this in mind. Our theme modules and blocks were meant to show posts, not external links.

@Bogdan, Thanks for the info, the content block does not work with the permalink, but other sections like latest articles in home page and category archive works.. I believe the best would be redirecting all posts to their permalink so even if it was clicked from the content block it will get to the permalink of the post. Do you know a way to do this or a plugin that can help?
Hi @René, I’m using a plugin that auto post while setting permalinks to the sources that’s how I got it.

You can try a redirect plugin but I cannot say for sure which one will work better. You will have to run a few tests with a bit of trial and error.
