Hi,
After updating to Newspaper 12.4 and moving my page to Cloud templates, the Post Preview plugin stoped working properly. Instead of showing the post it’s showing like strange looking cloud template with fake text.
This is a plugin that its not working anymore:

Hi,
But it was working previously, and I’m not the only one complaing for this issue. Can you have a look at it?
Hello @stefangebala !
This plugin is not a tested one. Please address this issue to the plugin’s support.
Thank you so much for understanding!
@stefangebala did you manage to find a solution?
I’ve recently switched to cloud templates and have also run into the same problem, Public Post Preview has stopped working with links redirecting to a template.
Hi,
Unfortunetly no.
There is no support for it either from plugin dev either from Newspaper team 🙁
But I found diferent plugin which is working fine for me. And I hope it will work in yhe future.
The name is: WP-DraftsForFriends

Hello,
I see that problems can arise from these plugins because they are incompatible with WordPress. -> https://i.imgur.com/m4cqNwu.png -> https://i.imgur.com/AnlJvSg.png
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
While Public Post Preview isn’t officially tested with the latest versions of WordPress, I can confirm it was working with 6.7.1.
It only stopped for me when I switched from standard templates to cloud templates. Now, when a Public Preview link such as ?p=58830&preview=1&_ppp=c7f0ac42c5 is created, it redirects to a cloud template path, /tdb_templates/blank-single-template/
Unfortunate as it was such a useful tool to have. While I appreciate this plugin isn’t on Newspaper’s officially supported list, it would be so helpful if someone from the team could try it and see if they experience the same.
It’s a lightweight plugin with over 100k active installations, available to download here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/public-post-preview/
Anamaria:
This is exactly how this plug-in should work:
1) You save your post as a draft
2) Then you create special link that you can send to people, and they can have a look of your unpublished post.
But after changing into cloud templates this link is not working – it redirect into template instead of post preview.
So, maybe TagDiv devs can take a look at this plugin and add it to tested and working?
Looks like a lot of people are using it…
@C386, what do you think?
Hi Anamaria,
Found a solution! Under Post Settings, I’ve set the default site post template to ‘Default’ and the Public Preview plugin is working.
Cloud Templates are instead configured individually for each category, under Categories -> Per Category Settings -> Post Cloud Library Template.
@StefanGebala hope this is helpful to you.
