Dear all,
We would like the post settings in the ‘Add new’ to show for the contributor role. The ‘Post Settings’ meta box, as of now, is only showing for Author, Editor and Administrator.
We can’t provide our employees with ‘Author’ role because they can publish posts without our authorization. The role that fits us best is the ‘contributor’ however, for this role, the ‘post settings’ meta box doesn’t exist.
Please assist.

Unfortunately, we do not have any option to change the role or capabilities of users in our theme. The theme doesn’t control these permissions. You can change the roles and capabilities of your users from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/
Only administrators and editors should be able to edit posts and with the TagDiv Composer.

Your answer doesn’t address what I’m asking.
I say in the ‘Add New’ button of the post, there’s a metabox that shows up, see attached, that’s not part of wordpress but created by your theme.
That metabox is only seen by admin, administrator and author roles. We want that box to be seen by contributors as well.
As stated, this is not a wordpress feature but rather a metabox added by TagDiv

Yes, I know. You can use a plugin, so you do not need to edit the theme files.
