Dear support,
When subscribers login to my site at warrimarket.com, I discovered, when the cursor is on top of the image post, it will show “Edit”. Pls, I did this remove, or not to be showing even to admin on the front end. See pics https://www.screencast.com/t/35emAKJVZp
Thanks.
Hello,
Please change the default user role of your subscribers as that will show up only when the user has editing rights. The option is found here: https://www.screencast.com/t/SKiC7o0u4Hfq
Our theme does not change the default user roles and capabilities of wordpress: https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
Your subscribers should not have the ability to edit your posts.
Thank you!
I also try reset all user role with
Reset User Roles with “WP USER EDITOR”
But no luck.
See reset message below
WARNING! Resetting will setup default user roles and capabilities from WordPress core.
If any plugins (such as WooCommerce, S2Member and many others) have changed user roles and capabilities during installation, those changes will be LOST!
For more information on how to undo undesired changes and restore plugins capabilities in case you lost them by mistake go to: http://role-editor.com/how-to-restore-deleted-wordpress-user-roles/
I need a solution out.
Thanks
Hi,
Well changes must have been made to the role capabilities, since they are not the default ones. Either by theme modifications or by a plugin that can do that. Subscriber roles should not be able to have that option. Try to think back, maybe you used a plugin to modify the roles, or made some customization in the theme.
Thanks
