I was wondering why my posts only show very low numbers of views, while I am sure much more people visited the posts.
The counter seems not to be working properly.
How to fix this?

Please provide a link to your website in order to inspect. Are you using a plugin for stats ? That will show you how many people visit your website and what articles are viewed.

Yes I am using Google Analytics.
This Post had 3498 views according to Google Analytics. The Newspaper Post views counter shows 544.

Hello !
This issue may come from the fact that you had this post before using Newspaper Theme. You can equalize your views using this option in post editing: https://www.screencast.com/t/NP3DFOwXrDym Set them manually and they will go from there.

no I am using Newspaper theme since I started this blog. All posts were published afterwards.
Still the counting in the future would be not right.
Could you please have a closer look as this is one of the important key functionalities of Newspaper theme.
This should really work for a high quality theme!
