Can you please explain what are the disadvantages between using the two options for the “Post views source”?
I only noticed there was a choice when investigating why the page views counter is much lower than the page views shown in Jetack stats. I think it may be down to Goode search sending people to amp versions of pages. Is there any way to fix that?

There are two choices: the WP postviews plugin and the counter from our theme.
If you do not activate the option from the first link or forget, then you cannot take the previous post views back and add them to the counter.
