Post wider on the page

Hi there,

I was wondering if it is possible to make my blogpost wider on my home page. I’ve hidden the sidebar because i thought it would make my post wider ( through widgets > remove all elements ) but now there is just a white space instead.

I would love to have a side bar and posts side to side but wider. How can i do this ?

Hi,

The post will be wider if you simply do not use a sidebar. This is an example of a post with no sidebar

In the post edit screen you need to select this option

The the post content will occupy the whole available width.

Thanks

Hi,

These widths are predefined in the theme stylesheet. Changing them by any means may lead to broken layouts. For example if a sidebar is used (left/right) the post content will always be 696px. If there is no sidebar, then the content will be the full theme width meaning 1068px.
The only solution for wider posts is to not use a sidebar.

Thanks
