Hi, I need to create posts without using the templates that automatically insert content in the content area. I do want the header and footer, but no other content blocks. I want to create the post with visual composer and have full control of the content area. How do I do this? or what are basic steps to create my own custom template, if that’s possible? Thanks.

If you want to create a new custom template, you can use the theme api system: https://forum.tagdiv.com/api-single-template-introduction/ but please note that the theme api is not covered by the theme support. It represents customization that falls beyond what the theme support can offer you.
