Posting website links to facebook double thumbnail

Hi guys,

Having a small issue with posting any post links to facebook. It seems that when posting the link it brings up 2 thumbnails which are the same. I have the Yoast SEO plugin installed which I assumed handled the output of posts with the featured image. Most themes I’ve used in the past were very basic and didn’t provide features such as this.

I’m not very experienced with coding and have no idea how to fix this. Does the Newspaper theme handle the post meta in such a way that may cause this?

The Yoast SEO plugin controls the Facebook share, and the image that is displayed

Try manually setting an image for the post
