Posts Loop ADS section

Hello,

I have searched the forum and the documentation, and I don’t know if I’m just missing it or what, but I can’t figure out what the ADS section in the Posts Loop module does. Does this insert ad code in between posts in the loop? If so, how does it work, because entering a piece of adsense code in the box doesn’t seem to do anything.
