Hi,
on my website the search does not find posts from my custom post types. I use Toolset to create the CPTs and Relevannsi for the search. The CPT is activated for search in the settings. So, I think I have to configure the search result page differently. Any hints? Would be great!
E.g.: https://www.happybaby.de/search/Heinsberg/

Hi,
You can set a for each CPT a search template https://i.imgur.com/K6YaZHA.png, in that template, you need to set the cpt post type -> https://i.imgur.com/5OGNAVh.png
Thank you!
Well, I like to see all results in one place? Is that NOT possible?
Okay, I see, comma-seperated. But somehow the CPR post show up if the search word is in the text – but not in the title? If you search e.g. for “HappyBaby” -> “HappyBaby Bamburg” shows up. But not if you search for “Bamberg”… Any idea why this happens?
Hi,
You need to set the post type for all elements, inclusive of the search element -> https://i.imgur.com/dq0ejNq.png
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria, okay, now I get results as I had an “offset”-Setting of “4” (whyever…). So the first 4 results were skipped and I did never see a “one hit result” while testing. My fault!
But if there is no result at all – always one result block shows up called “Archiv für Search Archive”, leading to nothing. Can you tell how to avoid to show up this block?
Would be grat! Martin
Hi,
Please provide a video with your settings on the elements.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.
Thank you!
