Yes but I thought that you were supposed to be taken to the Post Page selected as Primary and it does not. It takes you to the Posts secondary category page.
For example the post “Sessions says Mexicans will pay for the border wall ‘one way or another’ Primary category was set to be The Week but it lands in the second category page-Immigration-emigration.
Hi,
Please check your category structure again. The post you mention is included in multiple categories
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iUgXCKrGM
It also seems to be included in the other category you mention
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QO50f8TvtHDv
Please make sure you have set the primary category accordingly and check the category structure, it seems that you have quite a complicated category hierarchy. You will have to sort things out and maybe try and simplify this category tree.
Thanks
The primary category is set to The Week category but when you select/click on the post/article is does not take you there. Without changing my category structure tell me if what I said previously is correct.that is> When you assign a Primary Category isn’t it supposed to take you to the Primary category?
THanks
Hi,
If that is the primary category set then it should display accordingly. The primary category influences the article sidebar, the category tag displayed on modules and the breadcrumbs. This is better explained here

The post you mention seems to have this category as primary
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HrWXOHVm – https://www.screencast.com/t/wsXaN84sn
And this as the parent of the primary category

I don’t know what more to say in this matter, because everything seems to be in order.
Thanks
Hi,
I am sorry but I don’t know what more I could add. The post is part of these categories

You could just remove the post from the category you do not want it to appear, and assign it just the categories or category you would like.
Thanks
