in the JS console I get this message:
The resource https://www.eronite.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag-child/images/icons/newsmag.woff was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window's load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.
Where do the theme preload this? In the Newsmag’s theme panel there is no custom font defined and I’ve deactivated WP Rocket so there should no reason to preload this font.

This newsmag.woff font is not set in theme panel, it is set in child theme https://i.imgur.com/T3xJMd7.png please make a test, disable the child theme and check to see if that message is still in console or not, if the message is gone, then you need to check what you have set in the child theme folder.

I’ve made several tests and the issue is still there on my staging site where I’ve disabled the child theme.
Any idea why?

Hi, this is interesting, since the warning is coming from the child theme and you disable it, then should no longer be display.
Usually, some time this is because the font need also to have the “prefetch” element not only the “preload”.
