Prevent pictures posts from popping up

currently using newspaper x theme. when the pictures in my post are clicked the pop up on the screen. how do I disable this and preventing pictures from popping when clicked on

Hi,

This is the modal option (lightbox) this can be disable from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/qTOjeAg.png of the option in our theme and there is also an option in Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/jFbeAM7.jpg

I have already disabled the button indicated in https://i.imgur.com/qTOjeAg.png
but the pictures are still popping up

Hi dessy1991,
If the option from theme pane is disable, then it can be only the option from Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/jFbeAM7.jpg, this option is individual. Also make sure that you clear all cache.
