Preventing Repeated Articles on Home Page

Is there any way to prevent the four articles appearing in the Big Slide on the top of the HOME page from repeating in the LATEST POSTS appearing directly below it? Any info appreciated – thanks!

If an article is marked category 1, and category 2 and on the homepage the categories are down the page. Is there a way to prevent the same story from showing up on the home page more than once?

Hello servedaily,

You can use the Unique articles feature, like this http://screencast.com/t/9U0rMvS2 or you can try set offset feature for Latest Articles like this: http://screencast.com/t/U6hohxHS1h9 (an example for Big Grid) .

If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I can be able to provide a more accurate response.
