Primary catgory does not show

Hi,

Client needs the Category ‘Sponsored’ to display as the main category on a post and has selected that as the Primary Category (screenshot attached)

however, another additional selected category ‘Covet’ displays on the front end (screenshot attached)

When I remove Covet, Sponsored is displayed but they really want the Covet category assigned as well.

How can I achieve both Covet, Sponsored categories and have Sponsored showing on front end?

Hello!

When you edit a post, look for Post Settings. There is a setting called Primary Category and you can choose from that dropdown which one you want.
Please note that WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin also includes a ‘Primary Category’ option which is different from the one our theme provides. This feature will only add the ‘Primary Category’ name in the permalink structure and will not affect category tags, breadcrumbs or post settings.
