problem installing new version of visual composer

hi – i’m trying to install the latest version of visual composer as it has stopped working on the site…i have followed the tutorial offered here https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
but as when i get to step 4, where i need to choose the file, the only window that opens up is to my desktop, where i only have the old version. how do i access the new version from this pop up window that appears when i click the ‘choose file’ button as instructed?

Hello kirstycollings,

Please try to download the latest version of the theme because through this folder you can see the latest version of Visual Composer (4.11.2) and then try to set it according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ Also, you can update your theme to the latest version because this Visual Composer is tested with version 6.7.1 of the theme.
