Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

The problem is the WPBakery Page Builder 6.0.5. When it is disabled I do not have this problem. Sometimes I have to use wpbakery… to edit page. Please consider fix this.

Unfortunately yes, even tough WP bakery is a tested plugin I personally wouldn’t recommend using it. Since tagDiv Composer was created as our own page builder the developers are working on developing this plugin.
The lines you see are shortcodes that are being rendered only by the tagDiv Composer which is also a MUST HAVE plugin in order to run Newspaper Theme correctly.
You can use wp bakery on a page / post where there are NO tagDiv composer elements.
