Problem viewing archives, categories, pages, etc.

Hi, we have a problem that we can’t solve. We are a Cinema magazine and have many categories such as “film reviews”, “cinema news”, etc. Also at the bottom of the page are the latest articles. When we enter each category at the bottom we have a numbering from 1 to a total number of articles. The problem is that if we click on page 2 or 3, 4, 5, etc. you always see the first 8 articles. We have an archive of over 1,200 articles and this is not possible. There is something wrong and we don’t know what to do to fix the problem. The problem is on all categories, pages and post loops (latest articles).
