Problem with a security plugin

I’m experiencing a compatibility issue between the Newspaper theme and the Hide My WP Ghost plugin.

When I enable the “Hide WordPress Common Paths” feature, the theme stops functioning correctly as the theme’s CSS files return a 404 error.

To get the theme to work, I am forced to disable this important security feature, which I consider essential.

I have already contacted the developers of the Hide My WP Ghost plugin (Squirrly), and they informed me that your theme is not fully compatible with some security features because the paths for the CSS files are not dynamically adapted to the custom settings.

I would like to know if you have any plans to make your theme compatible with this important security plugin for WordPress. Thank you

Hello,

For security, you can use Wordfence and sucuri security plugins.

Thank you!

You can do quite a bit of security basics yourself, by setting proper file permissions, and adding elements to your .htaccess file that are agnostic to any plugin.
e.g.,
