Problem with Author box

Hello, I want to show in an “author box” the avatar of an user that have an avatar and administrator role in my website, how can i do it? I have to use the author id? And if yes, where i find it? The only thing that i see is the default image and “author name” (not the real name).

Thank you, but this is not my problem. I have a page, that is called something like “About us”. In this page I want to show the “Author box”, that is the widget that you offer with the theme “Newspaper7”. So, I have added the “Author box” and I’ve tried to set it to show in this “Author box” an User Avatar that is already existing (I had no problem with it), but unfortunately I can’t understand how can I “say” to the “Author box” to show the User Avatar of a particular user.

Hi,

The Author box element will display author info based on the author Id entered in the required field

You can find the author Id by hovering the user name for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PO9yTF8T9zh
Then the author box will display this author and the avatar that is set for that profile, based on the user Id.
