Problem with category background after updating the theme

Hi there!

I’m having an issue with category background after updating the theme

The background is being cropped around the header and footer areas – as you can see:

What is causing this?

Hello cahpolli,

Please notice that the latest theme version does not change the theme layout and the background should work as expected, sorry! If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of these, leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, provide your website URL so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
