Problem with (Disqus) comments on posts

Hi!
I have a problem with comments on my website (https://brandingmonitor.pl/). A few days ago everything worked well, but today I noticed that the comments are not displayed under the posts (for example: https://brandingmonitor.pl/kastylia-la-mancha-odswieza-samorzadowe-logo/).
I’m using Disqus system, but if I disable the plugin, WordPress comment system doesn’t work too. I don’t know why. Please help. The settings in WordPress panel are ok (I didn’t change nothing).

Hi,

I couldn’t say about disqus comments, but the default comments should appear. Check if the comments are enabled in the WordPress settings first (disable auto close)

Check in the theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/uoGi4jK8l
Check in individual posts – https://www.screencast.com/t/FNardINAouU
The comments should appear if enabled in all these places.

Regarding the disqus comments I found this guide with possible solutions

Thanks

Hi Simion! Thank you for your answer!

Unfortunately I didn’t find the solution to this problem. All settings were and are OK:

Disqus settings too.

I think (but I’m not sure) the problem is the Newspaper theme settings, because any change is visible on the site. For example I try to disable the author box below the posts, but after saving the settings, the box is still visible.

I really don’t know what the problem is. Now the Disqus plugin is disabled, but comments are still invisible.

That is not caused by theme, it is caused by caching. Theme does not have caching. Please clear all caches installed (cache plugins, caches provided by hosting, CDN if used) and check the results.

Yes, you’re right, Newspaper theme is OK. I checked others plugins and problem was with Autoptimize plugin. Solution: add the Disqus scripts (comment_count.js, comment_embed.js) to exceptions in Autoptimize. Now they are not compressed and everything is ok (with Disqus and comments).

Thank you very much for your answers and help! 🙂

2 @engrwaseemraja:

The plugin WPDISCUZ works on the basis of standard WordPress comments, so no scripts for WPDISCUZ do not need to be installed. Try to disable WPDISCUZ plugin and check it. By default, standard wordpress comments should be loaded.
